It was a really good 31st and 1st! I admit I was a little apprehensive about being in a new place, with new people. Being away from family and friends that I was familiar with for my Birthday, Christmas and New Year was something I was NOT looking forward to.
I thank God for all of my new friends and family and how in such a short time they've made me feel so welcome.
So, 1 down and 2 to go!! If Christmas and New Years can be just as exciting and fun then I'm looking forward to them already.
I will post more pictures and details later. Plus I have a whole months worth (3GB) of pictures to sort through and post. :D
But here are a couple of the people who took their time (and money :D:D) to celebrate with me.

So YAY for me I'm 22!!!! Thank you everyone! For your calls and notes and skypes and everything. SO SWEET! I miss Japan ... and I hope you wont forget me so soon. Lots of love!!!

Bye Bye Dinner with JTs

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW I miss my teens. And aren't they adorable. 3 of them aren't even here. :D:D You missed out David! :D:D Rosy and Yuri, I know you don't like to eat (ahem cough ahem) so you didn't miss much. TYJ that we were able to buy some nice chicken and tiramisu ... and one of our contacts gave us some teriyaki chicken, and nice WHITE RICE so we didn't have to eat brown rice. I'm so thankful we were able to have this nice dinner together before I left, and that the JTs were so nice and showed me how nice their manners could be. It was nice and simple, but very tasty.

AAND After getting all fat and cozy we squished ourselves into the office to watch Star Wars Episode 1. Its part of a JT projects/rewards thing.

Last Freeday

So the 28th Monday was my last freeday in Japan. And it was a RAINY, GLOOMY day. Which totally wasn't right cause I had a lot planned for today! I took my mom to Cheese House (where I worked for the past year) to eat Duet Fondue. The Tencho is super sweet and gave us a bottle of wine, and too bad I didn't take pictures of the food. It was much yummier than I thot it would be, so I was really happy about that. And Icchan was there so I got to take my final picture with her as well. Here it is.

Anyway, then Mr. Hide and Go Seek took us ... um me down the hill to meet up with Hik and go Kareeokei! Meccha Meccha tanoshikatta!!!! I don't remember the last time I had this much fun at Karaoke! Probably the last time b4 that was when we went with Patty and a bunch of other ppl all at once. We sang all these dorky songs and just went crazy ... after all, it is my last time here! YAYAYAYAY!!!






AWWW I'm REALLY REALLY gonna miss Karaoke!!! SIGH

BBQ and Party

So on the 23rd after 6 straight days of work and 2 of us working again the next day, we had a BBQ/birthday party/bye bye party with our baito nakamas. We were all SOOOOO exhausted ... we basically just sat around eating and telling each other how tired we were. :D:D Ok ... kinda not true ... but that's how we felt anyway. We played a few games, and we even played Sponge Bob altogether! :D:D That was fun. Even as tired as we were ... with good food, and good snacks and the knowledge that this would be the last time all of them would get together with me (lol) the night didn't end early. Was fun ... I'm gonna miss all my work buddies (esp "Sparky" lol)

On the 14th Mom took me to eat Sushi. We can't go with Yuri cause she hates the stuff ... so it was the perfect time to go have a little 'mother daughter' time without making Yuri feel bad. :D:D

... and I tried so hard but I couldn't eat THAT much. But I was very very happy with the stuff.


We then went to Karaoke ... and I think my mom had more fun that I did. Which was VERY surprising ... it was fun seeing her have fun.

Well, seeing as I haven't blogged in AGESSSS, I will start from where I left off ... sort of. I am now in Albania, but I am going to backtrack from a month ago and post as I go. Hopefully it wont take so long ... hopefully.
The FDTPers left on September 3rd (I think). I went down the hill with them at like 5 in the morning to see them off.
